Saturday afternoon in Barcelona

Ancora qualche foto scattata lo scorso sabato pomeriggio a Bacellona.

Girovagando tra la Barceloneta, il Porto Vecchio e la Sagrada Familia. Marinai in candida divisa bianca ad ogni angolo, risciò, gabbiani. Imponenti statue di leoni, aliscafi e barche a vela. E ancora una Sagrada Familia dai "lavori in corso" che aspira ad essere resa, se possibile, ancora più bella.

Mi avete scritto che dalle foto sembro radiosa ed effettivamente era così. Ma, del resto, come non esserlo davanti a tanta meraviglia? Il mio ragazzo ha scelto proprio il regalo perfetto!

Il mio outfit della giornata era decisamente comodo: shorts di Dondup lavanda chiaro che riprendevano i toni nuage della mia nuova Balenciaga (regalo di compleanno), contrastati con il giallo acceso del sandali Carvela comprati su Sarenza e della canotta di Stefanel. Infine occhiali da sole che riprendono i colori della nostra bandiera italiana comprati da Devan. Quando viaggio amo stare comoda per potermi godere al meglio la giornata, senza troppi fronzoli. E voi?

Still some photos gone off last Saturdays afternoon to Bacellona. Wandering about among the Barceloneta, the Old Port and the Sagrada Familia. Between some marinade in candid white uniform at every corner, some risciò and some gulls. Between impressive lions's statues, some rickshaews and some sailboats. And last but not least the "work in progress" Sagrada Familia trying to be, if possible, even more beautiful.

You have written me that from the photos we took during this trip I seem more bright than usual and indeed it was. I was so happy to be in such an amazing city. My boyfriend made me the perfect present!

My look of the day was decidedly comfortable: Dondup light lavender short that tooks back the nuage tone of the my new Balenciaga bag (one of the gift I received for my birthday), contrasted with the yellow tone of the Carvela flip flop (bought on Sarenza) and of the Stefanel vest. Finally the Devan sunglasses that take back the colors of our Italian flag. Yes, when I travel I love to be really comfortable to enjoy the best the day, without too many frills. And you?

La Rambla

Partenza alle dieci di sera da Bergamo (purtroppo volando con Ryanair si devono mettere in conto i ritardi :S) e arrivo in poco più di un'ora su una Barcellona completamente illuminata. Luci grandi, luci piccole, luci gialle, luci bianche, luci rosse. Si riusciva persino a scorgere la Avinguda Diagunal, la famosissima strada che divide in due parti la città. Bellissimo poter ammirare un simile spettacolo dall'alto: ero letteralmente estasiasta.

E' stato un amore che è cresciuto di attimo in attimo senza fermarsi nemmeno un istante.

Il luogo più apprezzato? Sicuramente La Rambla e il Mercat La Boqueria (di cui vi parlerò nel post di domani!). Un tripudio di persone delle cittadinanze e dalle età più disparate: bambini, mamme, anziani, ragazzi. Tutti intenti a scoprire questa meravigliosa città partendo proprio dal suo cuore.

Banchi di souvenir, fiori, mimi, giocolieri, ritrattisti e pittori a renderla viva, allegra, colorata e diversa da ogni altra strada principale di tutte le altre città da me visitate.

Il più simpatico? Sicuramente lui, il Cappellaio Matto, che mi ha anche offerto una mezza tazza di thè facendomi sentire una piccola Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie.

Leaving by airplain from Bergamo at 10:00 p.m. (yes, if you wanna fly with Ryanair you have to include the the delay :S) and arriving in little more than an hour above a completely beam Barcellona. Great, small, yellow, white and red lights all around. You succeeded even in perceiving the Avinguda Diagunal, the most famous avenue that divides in two parts the city. Awesome to be able to admire a similar show from on high: I enjoyed it so so much. It's a love that has been grown time after time.

My favourite place? Surely La Rambla and the Mercat La Boqueria (I will tell you about it in tomorrow's post!). There were so many people of any nationality and age, all discovering this marvelous city starting from its heart. Benches of souvenir, flowers, mimes, jugglers, portraitists and painters make this city so alive, happy, colored and different from every other principal avenue of the whole other cities I had visited before.

The most fun? Surely him, the Mad Hatter, that had also offered me an half cup of thè making me feel like a small Alice in the Wonderland.
