A perfect Sunday morning

A perfect Sunday morning.  Since we have Kiki at home with us (an year more or less) every new thing that enters from our house's door immediatly becomes hers ownership. She's so curious and she must always analyze every single detail, above all when it deals with some "new in". And she doesn't care if its a person or an object. If the victim passes the Kiki's test enters immediatly in hers favourite friends's entourage . She loves to show them her love in the most disparate ways, obviously. Scratching, jumping, or cuddling up beside them, in their arm, and directly "above". The same story happened also yesterday when an amazing new baby arrived at home. It's my first and unexpected gift for Christmas. My bf, that knows very well my Balenciaga's passion (and who doesn't know it right now?! :P) thought about making me a marvelous surprise giving me this wonderful City bag in the new Ardoise color. Kiki and I already love it, and you?

Una perfetta domenica mattina. 

Da quando abbiamo Kiki con noi ogni nuova cosa che entra dalla porta di casa diventa di diritto di sua proprietà. Lei è curiosissima e deve analizzare sempre ogni minimo dettaglio, soprattutto quando si tratta di un "nuovo arrivato". E non fa differenza se si tratta di una persona o un oggetto. Se il malcapitato passa il suo test  entra di diritto nella cerchia dei suoi amici preferiti a cui dimostrare tutto il suo affetto. Nelle modalità più disparate, ovviamente. Graffiando, mordendo, saltando, oppure accoccolandosi a fianco, in braccio, e direttamente "sopra". Come è accaduto con la nuova bimba arrivata nella mia casa ieri. Il mio primo e inaspettato regalo di Natale. Il mio ragazzo, che conosce bene la mia passione per le Balenciaga (e chi non la conosce ormai?! :P) ha pensato di farmi una meravigliosa sorpresa regalandomi questa splendida City nel nuovo colore Ardoise. Io e Kiki già l'amiamo, e voi che ne pensate?

Frenzy days

Giornate in cui giro giro e rigiro non sapendo quale cosa fare prima. 

Frenesia da tesi e da esami. 

Da un lato la voglia dare immediatamente tutti gli appelli. La voglia di iniziare immediatamente questa sessione estiva. 

Dall'altro lato la voglia che le date degli appelli si spostino magicamente di un paio di mesi ancora. 

Contraddittorio? Forse, ma queste sono le emozioni contrastanti che mi accompagnano sempre prima dell'inizio di ogni sessione! 

E' che ogni volta mi propongo sempre obiettivi troppo ambiziosi e per star dietro a tutto mi riduco anche a studiare di notte. Perchè? Perchè rispecchia perfettamente la mia filosofia di fondo: superare i propri limiti, superare sè stessi, migliorarsi, raggiungere traguardi insperati. Tutto questo penso dovrebbe essere alla base dei propositi che ognuno di noi si pone ogni mattina quando si alza dal letto. Io ci sto provando... E voi?

Days in which I turn turn and turn around not knowing what thing doing before. 

 Frenzy about the thesis and the summer examinations.  

From a side I want to do immediately all the exams. I have desire to immediately begin this summer session.  From the other side I desire that the dates of the appeals still move magically a couple of months afterwords.  Contradictory? Perhaps, but these are the conflicting emotions that always accompany me before the beginning of every session! And every time I always too much ambitious objectives and for doing everything I also reduce me to study during the night. Why? Because it perfectly mirrors my philosophy leading: to overcome our own limits, to overcome ourselves, to improve our to reach unexpected finishing lines. 

I think this should be at the base of the intentions that each of us sets every morning when get up from the bed. I am trying there... And you?

20IV2011 - Casual day

Come iniziare bene una giornata?
Colazione toast e spremuta d'arancia, un messaggio di buongiorno inaspettato, una mail tanto desiderata, un sorriso di una persona sconosciuta, l'abbraccio di una mamma, iniziare l'ultimo capitolo del libro del prossimo esame, scoprire che sono uscite le date degli appelli con largo anticipo rispetto allo scorso anno, la canzone preferita trasmessa alla radio, l'arrivo del postino con un pacco tanto atteso, le corse di Kiki per la casa, incontrare un'amica che non si era mai dimenticata, il sole fuori dalla finestra e il profumo della primavera nell'aria.

How to begin a day in the best way?
Breakfast toast and orange juice, a message of unexpected good morning, a mail very desired, a smile of an unknown person, a mother's embrace, to begin the last chapter of the book of the next examination, to discover that the dates of the appeals have gone out with wide advance in comparison to last year, the preferred song transmitted to the radio, the mail carrier's arrival with a package very attended, the runs of Kiki around the house, to meet a friend that you have never forgotten, the sun out of the window and the perfume of the spring in the air.
