A good news made my day

Sometimes little things are enough to give the correct motivation to things and days. I was running aground the last chapter of my thesis for weeks, when, Saturday, finally and unexpectedly, my supervisor returned me the first part of the thesis corrected, flattering for the good job I did and saying "definitely above the average of all jobs I examined till now". You can't imagine my joy at that moment. I jumped around the whole home for half an hour. From that moment I started the last part of the work with new ispirations and now I'm a step away the craved conclusion. If everything will be all right I will graduate in February and I'm looking forward that moment. I'll finally end a way and another one, probably even better, will start.

A volte basta davvero poco per dare lo stimolo giusto alle cose ed alle giornate. Da settimane mi trovavo arenata sull'ultimo capitolo della mia tesi quando, sabato, finalmente e inaspettatamente, il mio relatore mi restituisce la prima parte del lavoro corretta, complimentandosi per l'ottimo lavoro svolto "nettamente al di sopra delle media di quanto esaminato fino ad ora". Potete immaginare la mia gioia. Saltellavo per tutta la casa. Da allora mi sono buttata a capofitto sulla stesura dell'ultima parte e sono a un passo dalla tanto bramata conclusione. Se tutto va bene mi laureerò a febbraio e non vedo davvero l'ora. Finalmente termina un percorso per cui mi sono impegnata tanto e ne inizia un altro, se possibile, ancora più bello.

Look of the day: let's party!

When the turtle dove meets the white color in a very cold evening of half November. Python high heels, latest fashion of this F/W 2011, and Lady Dior, one of my favourite bags for its elegant and chic attidude combining with convenience and terseness.  A touch of femininity and refinement for a very special occasion: my bf's degree party. An evening that didn't disappoint our expectations, because, you know, what really means is to be with the right company, with your usual closest friends, who are able to make every evening so special. Like my sweety Ceci (with me in the last pictures): we know each others since we are two little girls and I love her so much.

Quando il tortora si incontra con il bianco in una serata particolarmente fredda di metà Novembre. Decollettè pitonate, come vuole la moda di questo A/I 2011, e Lady Dior, una delle borse che amo di più da sempre per il suo essere elegante e chic, senza rinunciare a comodità ed essenzialità. 

Un tocco di femminilità e ricercatezza per un'occasione speciale: la festa di laurea del mio ragazzo. Una serata che non ha deluso le aspettative, perchè, si sa, quello che conta è essere con la compagnia giusta, con gli amici di sempre, quelli capaci di rendere speciale ogni serata. Come la mia amica Ceci, con me nell'ultima foto, con cui ci conosciamo da quando eravamo poco più che ragazzine.

Casual outfit in a summer cloudy day

Dal primo momento in cui ho visto questa tee di LC23 ho subito pensato che questa bambolina mi assomigliasse. Sarà perchè abbiamo più o meno lo stesso taglio di capelli. Non trovate?!
Un outfit decisamente casual utilizzato durante una pausa dal mio studio in una giornata d'estate parecchio nuvolosa. Una semplice tee bianca, jeans con pietre colorate di Stefanel e sandali a forma di stella marina presi su Sarenza. Uniche note accese di colore rosso (il mio preferito): la maglia della bambolina, l'anello a forma di lampone inviatomi da Abataba e lo smalto di Armani. Il tutto perfettamente in sintonia con le pietre dei jeans. Infine un tocco chic: la Lady Dior, davvero perfetta in ogni occasione.

Since the first time I have seen this tee by LC23 I have immediately thought that this little doll looks like me. Probably because we have more or less the same haircut. Don't it?!
This is a definitely casual outfit wore during a study break in summer cloudy day. A simple white tee, Stefanel jeans with colored stones and jewellery sandals bought on Sarenza. Only touch of red color (my favourite one): the sweater of the little doll, the red blackberry by Abataba and the Armani nailpolish. All perfectly matched with the stones colored of the jeans. Last chic touch: the Lady Dior, indeed perfect in every occasion.
