A good news made my day

Sometimes little things are enough to give the correct motivation to things and days. I was running aground the last chapter of my thesis for weeks, when, Saturday, finally and unexpectedly, my supervisor returned me the first part of the thesis corrected, flattering for the good job I did and saying "definitely above the average of all jobs I examined till now". You can't imagine my joy at that moment. I jumped around the whole home for half an hour. From that moment I started the last part of the work with new ispirations and now I'm a step away the craved conclusion. If everything will be all right I will graduate in February and I'm looking forward that moment. I'll finally end a way and another one, probably even better, will start.

A volte basta davvero poco per dare lo stimolo giusto alle cose ed alle giornate. Da settimane mi trovavo arenata sull'ultimo capitolo della mia tesi quando, sabato, finalmente e inaspettatamente, il mio relatore mi restituisce la prima parte del lavoro corretta, complimentandosi per l'ottimo lavoro svolto "nettamente al di sopra delle media di quanto esaminato fino ad ora". Potete immaginare la mia gioia. Saltellavo per tutta la casa. Da allora mi sono buttata a capofitto sulla stesura dell'ultima parte e sono a un passo dalla tanto bramata conclusione. Se tutto va bene mi laureerò a febbraio e non vedo davvero l'ora. Finalmente termina un percorso per cui mi sono impegnata tanto e ne inizia un altro, se possibile, ancora più bello.

Camel and denim

Really love the camel and the jeans together. An easy-chic match perfect for every time of the day. From the job, to the university, passing for the happy-hour, up to the beer in Vittorio's plaza with some friends.  

And I love it even more when it's made eccentric by a pair of leopard moccasins, mine favourite right now.  Inseparable friend of these days my last bag in denim made by MatildeB stormed of small studs. Two big snap-hook rings make its chain shoulder belt adjustable, allowing you to wear it in 3 different ways. An unique piece, of those that you can't forget for a very long time.

Finally, to take back the two denim's shades of the outfit, I wore many hand-painted bracelets in blue and light blue tones.

Amo abbinare il cammello con il jeans. Un easy chic perfetto per tutte le ore del giorno. Dal lavoro, all'università, passando per l'aperitivo, fino alla birra in piazza Vittorio con gli amici. 

E lo amo ancor di più quando questo mix viene reso eccentrico da un paio di mocassini leopardati, i miei preferiti. 

Inseparabile ormai da alcuni giorni la mia borsa in denim di MatildeB tempestata di piccole borchiette. Due grandi anelli a moschettone rendono regolabile la sua tracolla a catena permettendo di indossarla in 3 modi diversi: a spalla (come ho fatto io), a tracolla, o come cintura facendola diventare una vera e propria pouch bag. Un pezzo unico, di quelli che ti rimangono impressi a lungo.

Infine, per riprendere le due tinte denim dell'outfit, tantissimi braccialetti dipinti a mano nei toni del blu e dell'azzurro.

Rainy Sunday

A so rainy Sunday here in my Turin. The Po is almost to the limit of the banks and the civil protection is allerted. I think I haven't seen so much water since a long time. Just 3 days ago I leart about from the newscasts the tragedy happened  to Genoa and now we are risking to taste such a similar calamity. I'm really scared about it.

Let's cross your fingers for the rain to stop!

Una domenica molto piovosa per la mia Torino. Il Po quasi al limite degli argini e la protezione civile allertata. Era da tanto tempo che non vedevo così tanta acqua. 

Apprendere dai telegiornali la tragedia avvenuta solo pochi giorni fa a Genova e rischiare che in questi giorni una simile calamità si verifichi anche nella città in cui vivo è qualcosa che mi atterrisce.

Incrociamo tutti le dita perchè smetta presto di piovere!

Spero nelle vostre città la situazione sia migliore e vi auguro un buon lunedì mattina!
