What I'm going to do this summer

Molti di voi mi hanno scritto chiedendomi cosa farò questa estate. Questa mie prime due settimana di vacanza le sto trascorrendo tra Bordighera, Mentone e Monaco con la mia famiglia e i miei amici di sempre. Sole, mare, abbronzatura e tanta tanta vita notturna. Martedì mattina, invece, partirò per Capri, per una vacanza relax con il mio ragazzo. Spero di poter visitare quanti più posti possibili non solo a Capri ma anche nella splendida Costiera Amalfitana. Non vedo davvero l'ora. Avete qualche bel posticino da consigliarmi?

Many of you have asked me to write on the blog about what I'm going to do this summer. I'm spending this first two weeks of holiday among Bordighera, Mentone and Monaco with my family and my usual friends. Sun, sea, tan and so much night life. Then, next Tuesday morning I will leave to Capri, for a relaxing vacation with my bf. I hope to be able to visit as much as possible not only Capri but also the amazing Costiera Amalfitana. Do you have some beautiful places to recommend me?

24th Birthday and the last exam of my university life

Ognuno di noi ha le sue giornate speciali. Quelle giornate che, qualsiasi cosa capiti, niente e nessuno potrà mai riuscire a rovinare. Quelle giornate in cui sembra che il mondo intero si sia stoppato per un istante per lasciarci godere a pieno quel momento. Quelle giornate in cui sembra che tutto abbia una luce diversa.

Oggi è la mia giornata speciale. E non solo per il mio 24esimo compleanno.

Oggi è la mia giornata speciale perché ieri si è concluso un lungo percorso iniziato 5 anni fa, precisamente il 9/1/2007 (giorno del mio primo esame). Ho completato il mio percorso di studio previsto dalla Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza. Mi sento leggera, felice e leggermente malinconica per un periodo molto bello della mia vita che si chiude.

Per festeggiare tutte queste belle notizie oggi pomeriggio partirò. La meta è sconosciuta. Il mio ragazzo mi ha organizzato una sorpresa. So solo che starò via 3 giorni, fino a domenica, e che dovrò portare un bagaglio molto leggero di non più di 5 kg. Per me sarà un impresa difficilissima. Non ho capacità di selezione e quando viaggio porto con me l’intera casa :S. Sono davvero curiosissima.

Vi terrò sicuramente aggiornate via Facebook.

I suppose everyone has its special days. Those days that nothing and nobody can ever succeed in damaging. Those days when it seems that the whole world has been stopped for an instant to let us fully enjoying that moment. Those days when it seems that everything has a different light.

Today it is my special day. Not only because it's my 24th birthday.

Today it's my special day because yesterday I completed a long run that began 5 years ago, precisely 2007/11/1 (the day of my first examination). I have done with all the exams of my Magistral Degree in Jurisprudence. I feel free, happy and slightly melancholy for a very beautiful period of my life that has been closed.

To celebrate these beautiful news, today I will leave to un unknown destination. My boy has organized a surprise for me. The only thing I know is that we will be away for 3 days, up to Sunday, and that I must bring a very light luggage (no more than 5 kg). For me it will be a very difficult enterprise. I'm not able to select the essential things, so, when I travel, I bring with me the whole house ahaha :S.

I am super curious. Stay tuned cause I will surely let you know the destination on Facebook/Twitter. Where do you thing he will bring me? I'm on late now I have to packing!!!

The Fairy Poem Dress

Chi ha detto che un vestitino rosa antico di qualche anno fa non possa essere dinuovo attuale se mixato nel modo giusto?!

Ho comprato questo vestitino rosa di Patrizia Pepe almeno 3 o 4, se non 5, anni fa. Ricordo di essere stata da subito colpita dalla dolcissima poesia sulle fate che vi era impressa. Quell'estate l'ho usato tantissimo, riuscendo ad abbinarlo praticamente con tutto. Poi, come spesso accade, l'ho dimenticato nel mio armadio, tra un vecchio jeans strappato e un maxi cardigan, tra una gonnellina arancio e una camicia bianca.

Questa ho pensato che fosse l'estate giusta per fargli rivedere il sole, e il mare. Abbinato ad un maxi cappello bianco, in perfetto stile Dolce vita, e a un paio di comode zeppe che ne riprendono delicatamente i toni. Reinventato per fare da copricostume ad un romantico bikini a cuori. Ovviamente rosa.

Who said that a little old rose dress of some years ago cannot be once more fashonable matched in the right way?!

I bought this Patrizia Pepe dress 3 or 4, maybe also 5, years ago. I remember that I immediately felt in love with the sweetest fairy poem engraved on it. That summer I used it so much, succeeding in matching it with everything in my closet. Then, as it often happens, I forgot it in my wardrobe, between an old ripped jeans and a maxi cardigan, among an orange skirt and a white shirt.

This summer I think is the perfect moment to make it see the sun and sea again. Matched to a straw maxi white hat, in perfect Dolce vita style, and to a pair of comfortable wedges that remind the tones of the dress. Redevise as a beachrobe for a romantic hearts bikini. Obviously pink.
