Everyday outfit

TORINO. Camminare per il centro senza una meta ben definita. Non necessariamente con la voglia di fare shopping, ma con la semplice necessità di godersi la propria città facendo quattro chiacchiere in compagnia di un gelato e della mia più cara amica. Indossare i suoi bellissimi occhiali da sole Prada Minimal Baroque e scoprire quanto siano ancora più belli e comodi di come li immaginassi. Soprattutto quando è la Gran Madre a far loro da sfondo.

Rosso, azzurro e nero i colori dominanti di uno tra outfit che più mi rispecchia. Ultimanente infatti, sarà la fine dell'estate, sarà la stanchezza accumulata, o chissà, ricerco sempre abbinamenti che siano il più comodi possibile per il giorno. Riscoprendo la magia dei jeans. Troppo raramente presenti nel mio guardaroba. Occorrerà rimediare :P

Come accessorio di punta il bangle inviatomi da Monilia Jewels, personalizzabile secondo il proprio gusto personale e utilizzabile anche come ferma stola (presto realizzerò un post per mostrarvelo anche in questa veste). Pietre color malva opacizzato, verde giada, glicine, azzurro ghiaccio e una piccola stellina bianca in grado di colpire l'occhio al primo sguardo.

Io inizio a mettermi sotto con la tesi. E voi come trascorrerete la giornata?

TURIN. Walking around the center of the city without a defined destination. Not necessarily with the desire of doing some shopping, but only needed to enjoy our own city making some chatters together with my dearest friend and ice cream and. Wearing her beautiful Prada Minimal Baroque's sunglasses and discovering how much beautiful and comfortable they are, even more then I ever imagined, especially when is the Gran Madre's church to serve them as a background.

Red, blue and black: the dominant colors of my perfect outfit for these September's days. I'm feeling so tired and sad about the ending of summer and have to reaccostum to the restart of my everyday things to do. This is the reason why I'm trying to create outfit being more confortable than I usually do. 

For the accessory, I'm falling in love with the bangle Monilia Jewels's sent me, costumizing according to your own taste, that can be used also to fix your stole (soon I will realize a post to show you this way too). Mallow opacified, green jade, glicine, blue ice stones and a small white star are able to capture eyes at first sight.

Today I have to start with my thesis. And what are your programs for the day?

Bianco, nero e azzurro- Tiffany (come lo chiamo io :-). I miei 3 colori preferiti? Assolutamente. Insieme a mio parere sono assolutamente perfetti. Se poi aggiungiamo come location la suggestiva Gran Madre, a due passi dalla mia università, un buon thè freddo al limone (il mio preferito in realtà è l'Estatè, ma, in mancanza, devo dire che anche il Nestea non è male) un bel venticello primaverile e tante risate, allora sì che la giornata inizia davvero bene!

White, black and blue-Tiffany (as I call it : -). Are my 3 preferred colors? Absolutely. Together in my opinion they are absolutely perfect. If we add, as location, the suggestive Gran Madre, a stonesthrow from my university, a good cold tea (mine preferred is the Estatè one, but, in lack, I must say that the Nestea is not so bad), a beautiful spring breeze and too many laughters, then yes that the day begins very well indeed!

Laughters

Una sequenza di foto "movimentate" che io e Cristina ci siamo divertite a scattare qualche giorno fa alla Gran Madre. A me trasmettono molta allegria e ripensare alle risate che ci siamo fatte mentre le facevamo mi mette ancora il sorriso. Spero piacciano anche a voi!

A sequence of "animated" photo that Cristina and I took some days ago at the Gran Madre here in Turin.  They transmit me a lot of fun and remembering all the laughters we have had while we were doing them makes me smile. I hope you like them too!

A trip around Torino: Gran Madre

Here we are after the second exam of this summer session, which forced me to spend less time not only on my blog, but also on my everyday interests.

In this post I will show you another part of my city, one of my favorite for its atmosphere, its history and, why not, its shops: the "Gran Madre".

This area is is named by the "Gran Madre di Dio" church, one of the largest and oldest of my city, located in one of the most picturesque location: it overlooks on the Vittorio Emanuele I bridge and on the Vittorio Emanuele I square (the Europe's largest arcade plaza), dominating, from its elevated position, much of the pre-hills and along-the-Po-river area.
Based on the architecture of the Roman Pantheon, was begun to build in 1818 (to celebrate the return of King Vittorio Emanuele I, after Napoleon's defeat), but the work was completed only in 1831 under Carlo Alberto of Savoy.

Eccoci qui dopo il secondo esame della sessione, che mi ha costretto a togliere molto tempo non solo al blog, ma a tutti i miei quotidiani interessi.

In questo post voglio mostrarvi un altra parte della mia città, una delle mie preferite per la sua atmosfera, la sua storia e, perchè no, i suoi negozi: la Gran Madre.

Questa zona prende il nome dalla Chiesa Gran Madre di Dio, una delle più importanti e antiche della mia città, collocata in uno degli scorci più suggestivi di sempre: si affaccia sul ponte Vittorio Emanuele I e su piazza Vittorio Emanuele I (la piazza interamente poricata più grande d'Europa) dominando, dalla sua posizione rialzata, gran parte dell'area pre-collinare e del lungo Po.Riprendendo l'architettura del Pantheon romano, fu iniziata a costruire nel 1818 (per festeggare il ritorno del re Vittorio Emanuele I, dopo la sconfitta di Napoleone), ma i lavori terminarono solo nel 1831, sotto Carlo Alberto di Savoia.

E' una zona molto lussuosa, ricca di bellissime casa, condomini e non solo, in cui si possono ammirare le vetrine di alcuni tra i più bei negozi di Torino:

- Les Néréides: un piccolo negozietto pieno di gioielli e bijoux realizzati con pietre preziose, dal designer sempre originale e mai scontato.
 Decisamente troppo cari, a mio parere: pensate che quell'anello color azzurro-Tiffany a forma di fiore costa130 euro!

Les Néréides: a small shop full of jewelry and bijoux made with precious stones, for a always original and never granted designer.
In my opinion it's too far expensive. The flower ring in blue-Tiffany color was 130 Euros!

Regina: a very luxury shop that sells shoes, handbags and accessories made by the major haute couture Maisons.

The Piccantino's bar: here young people, and not only, loves to stop for a snack or for have lunch with delicious Piccantino Beppe: a really delightful hot sandwich with a secret ingredient . After the first you can not help but order another one ;-)

Il bar del Piccantino: qui i ragazzi, e non solo, amano fermarsi per uno snack o una pausa-pranzo a base del delizioso Piccantino di Beppe. Un panino cando, con un ingrediente segreto, semplicemente delizioso: sicuramente dopo il primo non potrete fare a meno di ordinarne un altro ;-)

Comme toi: a shop selling clothes and accessories very colorful and refined, with not too nice staff.

For this outfit I decided to focus on the conflict between two very bright colors: red and pink. Hope you like the outcome.
