When lavender meets light purple

L'estate è ormai agli sgoccioli. Durante questo ultimo week end di agosto ho dovuto dire ciao agli amici di sempre tutti in partenza per ritornare alla loro routine quotidiana (purtroppo lontano dalla mia Torino), ho dovuto dire ciao alle divertenti serate monegasche trascorse alla Brasserie o allo Zelo's, ho dovuto dire ciao alle cene, agli aperitivi, alle feste, alle gite in barca, ai tuffi dal molo di Mentone e agli scogli dove andavamo sempre a prendere il sole per ricordarmi che, sì, l'estate è proprio finita. Io resterò al mare ancora per una settimana sfruttando questo clima fresco per dedicarmi completamente alla mia tesi di laurea e al blog.

A settembre mi aspettano tante novità e sorprese tra cui una collaborazione molto divertente per la VFNO dell'8 settembre a Milano! Non vedo l'ora! 

Inoltre ho in serbo per voi un nuovo giveaway in collaborazione con uno splendido brand: OPS!Object vi dice qualcosa? :D

The summer is goingh trought. During this last week-end of August I have had to say bye to the usual summer friends that were all in departure to return to their daily  routine (unfortunately away from my Turin), I have had to say bye to the amusing evenings departed in Monaco at the Brasserie or Zelo's, I have had to say bye to suppers, to appetizers, to parties, to boat trips,  to the dives from the dock of Mentone and to the rock-clifves where we always went to sunbathe, and have to remember that, yes, the summer is really ended. 

I will still stay here at the sea for a week more exploiting this fresh climate to devote me completely to my degree's thesis and to the blog.

In September there are some news and surprises awaiting for me like a very amusing collaboration for the Milan VFNO of September 8th!

 I have also planned a new giveaway for you in collaboration with a beautiful brand: what do you think if I say OPS!Object? :D

Eccomi ritornata dal bellissimo viaggio in Costiera Amalfitana. Porto con me ricordi bellissimi non solo dei luoghi visitati ma anche delle splendide persone conosciute. Ho ancora tantissime foto da mostrarvi, quindi state sintonizzati!

L'outfit di queste foto è stato utilizzato per una recente serata trascorsa qui in Costa Azzurra, mixando due dei miei colori preferiti, beige e azzurro-Tiffany per riprendere i colori principali del top di Sete di Jaipur. Che ne pensate del risultato?

Summer look: stripes and bows

Tutto quello che richiede una giornata di mare in cui il tempo è nuvoloso, non ci si può dedicare alla propria abbronzatura in spiaggia e si devono cambiare i propri programmi in una passeggiata e un giro per negozi. Prendisole a righe gialle bianche e nere in cotone, sandali di gomma con mega fiocco neri, una borsa intrecciata vintage firmata Bottega Veneta gentilmente prestatami dalla mia dolcissima pro-zia, un'importante collana bianca in corda con dettagli oro e tanti braccialetti colorati e dorati.

This is all I need for a cloudy sea day, when I cannot brown tan in the beach and my programs shift into a walk and maybe shopping. A bright yellow white and black sundress made up of cotton, black bow sandals made up of rubbish, a woven vintage purse of Bottega Veneta kindly lent me by my sweet for-aunt, a great white necklace which looks like rope with golden detail and so many colored and gilded bracelets.

My summer state of mind

Spiaggia a strapiombo sul mare, un leggerissimo kaftano nei toni del blu elettrico, micro bikini dai mille cuori colorati, una leggera abbronzatura, il mio paio di occhiali da sole preferito, un tripudio di braccialetti che vogliono farsi notare e un giallissimo orologio in gomma subacqueo. Questo è generalmente l'outfit da spiaggia che preferisco per godermi in tutta comodità queste giornate di vacanza. E' vero che troppi braccialetti rischiano di impedire una abbronzatura uniforme, ma, è un prezzo che pago volentieri: li trovo bellissimi in spiaggia. E non solo. Da qualche giorno poi, come sapranno già quelli di voi che mi seguono sulla fan page di Facebook, una splendida new entry ha arricchito la mia collezione estiva di bijoux: il braccialetto firmato OPS!Love. Catena di resina anallergica, maxi cuore in silicone e medaglietta d'acciaio "OPS!": tra le 10 proposte cromatiche il mio cuore ha da subito battuto per il color azzurro puffo. Ormai viviamo in simbiosi, non lo tolgo dal polso neanche per fare il bagno :P 

Come potete vedere dalle foto anche la mia Kiki ha provato a rubarmelo. Vanitosissima vero?!

Vertical sheer beach upon the sea, a light electric blue kaftano, a micro bikini with thousand of colored hearts, a little bit of tan, my favourite pair of sunglasses, a blaze of bracelets that pretend to pick up on and a yellow scuba diver clock made of rubber. This's my generally beach outfit to enjoy in all confortness these days of vacation. And' true that too many bracelets risk to prevent a uniform tan, but, it's a price I pay gladly: I find them very beautiful at the beach. And not only. Further, since a few days, the ones of you that follow me on the Facebook fan page already know, a awesome new entry has enriched my summer collection of bijoux: the OPS!Love bracelet. Nonallergic resin chain and maxi heart made of silicone: its available in 10 rainbows colors but my heart stops immediately on the blue one.We live in symbiosis right now, I don't even take it away when I swim in the sea :P
