Do you go past the yellow lights?

One of the color-must of this spring/summer 2010 is just the eccentric YELLOW.

Every fashionista will own something in this color in her wardrobe, no matter what: may be a dress, or an oversize shirt, or a pair of ballernas or decollèttes, or a cardigan, or why not, a pair glasses or a headband.

From Emilio Pucci long dresses to Versace mini-dress, from Fendi ballerinas to Giorgio Armani sequins clutch, all the major designers have proposed at least one or more items in this sparkling color.

Uno dei colori must di questa primavera 2010 è proprio l'eccentrico GIALLO.

Ogni fashionista vorrà possedere qualcosa di questo colore all'interno del proprio armadio, non importa cosa sia: può trattarsi di un abito da sera, una camicia oversize, un paio di ballerine o decollèttes, un cardigan, o perchè no, un paio di maxi occhiali da sole o di un cerchietto.

Dagli abiti lunghi di Emilio Pucci ai mini-dress di Versace, dalle ballerine di Fendi alle clutch tempestata di pailettes di Giorgio Armani, tutti i principali stilisti hanno proposto almeno un capo, se non di più, in questo frizzante colore.

We had dinner at the Gramsci restaurant  (via Andrea Doria) and here we met the beautiful Cristina Chiabotto, former Miss-Italia, with her boyfriend Fabio Fulco, both very nice and friendly!

A femininity touch

Probably both Balenciaga and Chanel are at the top on the wishes list of every fashionist girl.

Probabilmente sia Balenciaga sia Chanel sono al top nella lista dei desideri di ogni ragazza appassionata di moda.

The classic Chanel 2.55 is created by Coco Chanel (the number five is her lucky number) and revisided by Karl Lagerfeld. This bag has been recognised as the representative image of the Maison ever the latest 50 years, also for the impressive ability of the designers to propose a model similar to itself but always update. The 2.55 model is perfect for any age: both on ladies and young girls.

La classica Chanel 2.55 è stata creata da Coco Chanel (il 5 era il suo numero fortunato) e rivisitata da Karl Lagerfeld. Questa borsa è stata considerata, durante gli ultimi 50 anni, l'immagine rappresentativa della Maison, anche per l'impressionante abilità dei designers di proporre un modello simile a se stesso, ma sempre aggiornato.

The one you can see in these photos is made up in crocodile leather, so it is a evening-party purse, not for everyday life. I think that the Chanel fakes are the most evident purses's fakes, 'cause it's really very difficult to faithfully reproduce all of its features: the padding matellassè; the shoulder-strap chain on gild with a strip of leather; the lining leather, mostly, in granade red; the name Chanel with the "R" of the registed brand; the careful trims, sizes... Infact to realise a 2.55 purse are necessary 180 operations from the cut till the manufacture! That is a bag of atelier, made up for every one of us, almast made to measure!!

La 2.55 che vedete in queste foto è realizzata in pelle di coccodrillo, per questo è una borsa più da sera che da giorno. Penso che i fake delle Chanel 2.55 siano i più evidenti, perchè è davvero difficile riprodurre fedelmente tutte le caratteristiche di queste borse: l'imbottitura matellassè; la tracolla a catena dorata con una striscia di pelle; l'interno in pelle, nella maggioranza dei casi, di colore rosso granata; il nome Chanel con la "R" del marchio registrato; le accurate rifiniture, le misure precise... Infatti per realizzare una 2.55 sono necessarie ben 180 operazioni dal taglio fino al confezionamento! Possiamo quindi capire che si tratta di un vera e propria borsa da atelier, realizzata per ognuna di noi, quasi su misura!

The Balenciaga Dix Motorcycle was designed by Nicolas Ghesquiere on 2002, and it had grown famous thanks to Carine Roitfeld, the Vouge France manageress, who took the bag always with her during every occasions of her life. That bag was ispired to the handbag of the motocyclist, so they added the little hanged  mirron to give it a femininity touch. 
It's avaible in 3 different models: First (the smallest), City (the middle) and Work (the biggest). It's made up on soft kid leather and you can choose between a great colours range: from the palm-tree to the raisin. I choose this coulor 'cause I think that I one of the most matching.


La Balenciaga Dix Motorcicle è stata creata da Nicolas Ghesquiere nel 2002, ed è diventata famosa grazie a Carine Roitfeld, la direttrice di Vouge France, che portava sempre questa borsa con sè, durante ogni occasione della sua vita. Per realizzare questa borsa si sono ispirati alle borse dei motociclisti, aggiungendo un piccolo specchietto al fine di darle un tocco di femminilità.
E' disponibile in 3 diversi modelli: First (la più piccola), City (la media) e Work (la più grande). E' confezionata in morbida pelle di capretto e si può scegliere tra una vastissima gamma di colori: dal verde palm-tree al viola raisin. Io, personalmente ho scelto questo colore grigio scuro perchè penso sia uno dei più facilmente abbinabili.

In these photos I also wear a necklace with a lollipop that was hand-made by one of my closest friend Valentina (helped by her friend Alessandra). They realize necklaces, bracelets, ear-rings, all in polymer clay, representing funny daily objects: from the biscuits and milk to books, ladybugs and pizza. They create a little brand called Verza&C: you can see all their creations on MissHobby, or on her Website. Really adorable and personalizing!!

Come potete vedere in queste foto indosso anche una collana con un chupa-chupa che è stata realizzata a mano da una delle mie più care amiche, Valentina (aiutata dalla sua amica Alessandra). Loro si divertono a realizzare collane, braccialetti, orecchini, tutti in fimo, rappresentanto simpatici oggetti di uso quotidiano: dai biscotti e latte ai libri, coccinelle e pizza. Hanno creato un piccolo marchio "Verza&C": potete vedere tutte le loro creazioni o su MissHobby o sul suo sito internet. Queste creazioni sono tutte adorabili e personalizzabili a proprio gusto!!
