Put some glitters on it

Finalmente questo week end qui a Torino abbiamo cominciato a sentire il primo freddo. L'afa che aveva caratterizzato tutta la scorsa settimana ha deciso di lasciare il posto ad un clima più autunnale. Un clima decisamente più consono alla vita frenetica di tutti i giorni. Alle giornate in università chiuse in un bunker-biblioteca praticamente senza finestre. Alle corse dalla biblioteca universitaria a quella civica a quella nazionale alla ricerca di un libro che poi, come sempre, si scopre essere stato già prenotato. Sì durante la scorsa settimana sembrava davvero che la nuvoletta della sfiga mi perseguitasse. E pensare che io non credo nella sfortuna. Sembra che fare la tesi non faccia proprio per me...tutte queste ricerche di millemila monografie e riviste...vi giuro che preferirei dare al posto 5 esamoni di diritto, di quelli belli tosti!

Ora devo giusto finire di prepararmi e correre in università alla ricerca dell'ennesima monografia. Purtroppo se ne possono affittare solo 3 al mese, quindi la mia ricerca si preannuncia ancora mooolto lunga. 

Vi lascio con un outfit dal tocco sportive glam: jeans a sigaretta, maxi blousa nera di lana, scarpe glitteratissime (che vi avevo già mostrato qui) che sembrano riprendere i toni degli orecchini Stephilà Creations che la mia lettrice Stefania ha gentilmente realizzato per me e, infine, pochette a mano di vernice.

Finally this week-end here in Turin the first cold has been started. The sultriness that had characterized our lastest weeks decided to leave the place to an autumn climate. Definitely more suitable to the frantic evryday life. To the days closed up in the university's bunker-library-without-windows. To the runs from the university library to civic one to national one in searching of a book to discover, as usual, that it has been already booked. Yes, during the last week the puff of bad luck has been persecuted me. It seems that  to-do-thesis doesn't do really for me at all...all these searches of millions of monographs and magazines...I swear you that I would prefer to give by 5 big big law's exams intead of doing it. Unfortunatly it isn't possible!

Right now I have to prepare myself and to race in university for the nth monograph's search. We can rent only 3 books/month, therefore my search is still preannounced veeeeeery long.  

I leave you with an outfit from the sportive glam touch: cigarette jeans, maxi black wool blouse, glittered shoes (that I have alewady shown you here) that seems to take back the tones of the Stephilà Creations's earrings Stefania, one reader of mine, has realize for me and, finally, hand patent leather pochette.

New in: glitter mania

Una giornata di metà settembre. Le nove di mattina e ancora tante lunghissime ore di tesi davanti a me. Almeno 10 finestre di Google Chrome aperte, perchè sarebbe troppo semplice concentrarsi sul fare solo una cosa per volta. La ricerca di un libro che sembra non essere mai esistito per nessuno, ma che il mio professore considera FONDAMENTALE per la mia bibliografia. Tutto fa pensare all'ennesima giornata infruttuosa. E io che credevo di aver iniziato una strada in discesa con il finire degli esami universitari.

Proprio quando decido di consolarmi con il mio Esta-thè di metà mattina, suonano alla porta e compare lui. Il corriere Bartolini. Proprio lui che riesce sempre a sbagliare l'indirizzo di casa mia, proprio lui che quest'estate è riuscito a rimandare un pacco al mittente sostenendo che mi fossi trasferita, proprio lui che troppo spesso lascia il biglietto nella buca delle lettere senza neanche prendersi il disturbo di suonare, o, ancora peggio, suona il citofono e schizza via ai 200 km/h nella frazione di secondo necessaria per chiedere "Chi è?". Insomma, proprio lui. Doveva proprio essere la mia giornata fortunata :D

Vi presento la mia glitteratissima sorpresa: un paio di francesine di Patricia Blanchet. La cosa che più mi ha colpito (oltre a queste meraviglie) è stato il packaging: scatola grigia più busta di cotone grigia entrambe adornate da un mega fiocco rosso fuoco. Un'idea molto divertente per chi debba fare un regalo a una persona speciale.

A day of half September. 9:00 a.m. in the morning and still so many hours of thesis in front of me. At least 10th Google Chrome's windows opened, because, you known, I cannot focus myself on make only one thing at time. The search of a book that seems never been existed that my professor considers vital for my bibliography. All makes me think about the nth fruitless day. Seems ridicolous when I believed to have begun a descent path with to end of university's examinations.

Just when I decided to comfort myself with the half-mornig Esta-thè, someone rung at the door. The Bartolini's courier poped up. Just him that always succeeds in mistaking the address of my house, just him that this summer has succeeded in postponing a package to the sender sustaining that I have been transferred my residence. Shortly, just him. Definitely a lucky day :D.

So I introduce you this amazing glittered surprise: a pair of Patricia Blanchet's shoes. The thing that more has struck me (besides these beaties) has been the packaging: grey box and cotton grey envelope both decorated by a great red fire bow. A very amusing idea also for one who have to do a gift to a special person.
