Windy Saturday

It's almost Christmas. I spent again my Saturday afternoon in searching for my beloved people Christmas presents. I haven't succeeded in ending all of them yet, but I have gone on the most difficult mission year after year. To find the present formy bf. Above all because I want every gift to be personalized and to speak about the person who will receive it. Yes, because I'm firmly convinced that the beauty of a gift is not in the money spent for buying it, but in the thought, in the idea and in the originality of that gift. After a lot of searches I have found a gift that perfecly mirrors Manu. There wasn't any people happy like person me at that time.
The outfit I chose for the day was extremely confortable and warm. You know, I have a great passion for bags and, lately I am discovering so many new designers, rigorously made in Italy, with so many creative ideas. The purse I wore in this look belongs to the new brand Goga bags, recently created by a fellow citizen of mine named Claudia. The image she selected for the line takes back to the colors and the forms of a painting she paint herself. Innovation, bright colors and handiness: the features of a purse bound to catch the attention.

Manca solo una settimana a Natale. Il mio sabato pomeriggio è trascorso, nuovamente, alla ricerca dei regalini di Natale per le persone a me più care. Non sono ancora riuscita a finirli tutti, ma ho portato a termine la missione per me ogni anno più complicata. Trovare il regalo per il mio Lui. Soprattutto perchè tengo molto che ogni regalo sia personalizzato e parli della persona che lo sta ricevendo. Sono fermamente convinta che la bellezza di un regalo non stia nei soldi spesi per comprarlo, ma nel pensiero, nell'idea e nell'originalità di quel regalo. E dopo molte ricerche ho trovato il regalo che rispecchi perfettamente Manu. Non c'era persona più felice di me in quel momento.
Per il mio sabato di shopping natalizio, accompagnato da un vento forte e costante, ho scelto capi estremamente comodi e caldi. Come sapete sono una grande appassionata di borse e, ultimamente, sto scoprendo tantissimi nuovi designer, rigorosamente made in Italy, dalle idee davvero creative. La borsa che indosso in questo look appartiene al nuovo brand Goga bags, recentemente creato da una mia concittadina Claudia. La fantasia scelta per la linea si ispira proprio ai colori e alle forme di un dipinto realizzato da lei personalmente. Innovazione, colori fluo e praticità per una borsa destinata a catturare lo sguardo.

Un outfit che soddisfa perfettamente le mie esigenze di queste giornate frenetiche di studio: comodità e freschezza. Una blusa traforata color arancio acceso (che vi avevo già mostrato venerdì nel post degli acquisti low cost), un paio di shorts di jeans costumizzati che riprendono, nella fantasia delle tasche, i toni della blusa, maxi borsa con tracolla capientissima (perfetta per quelle che, come me, quando escono si portano dietro l'intera casa!) e ballerine rasoterra. 

Le giornate sono sempre più calde qui a Torino e non so davvero più cosa fare per combattere questo caldo. Purtroppo posso aprire le finestre prolungatamente solo in determinate stanze perchè corro il rischio che la mia Kiki (di 8 mesi), spericolata com'è, casa dal 7° piano :S 

Avete qualche consiglio da darmi?

This outfit perfectly satisfies my desires of these frantic study days: convenience and freshness. 

A pop orange pierced blouse (that I had already shown you on Friday post about my low cost purchase), a pair of costumize jeans that takes back the tones of the blouse (on the pockets decorations), a maxi purse with shoulder belt so capacious (perfect for those that, like me, bring behind the whole house when they go out!) and ballerinas.  

These days are becoming more and more warm here in Turin and I don't know what to do for fighting this heat. Infact I can't  open the windows because of my Kiki (8 months) that would fall off  the 7° floor!! :S 

Any suggestion?

Frenzy days

Giornate in cui giro giro e rigiro non sapendo quale cosa fare prima. 

Frenesia da tesi e da esami. 

Da un lato la voglia dare immediatamente tutti gli appelli. La voglia di iniziare immediatamente questa sessione estiva. 

Dall'altro lato la voglia che le date degli appelli si spostino magicamente di un paio di mesi ancora. 

Contraddittorio? Forse, ma queste sono le emozioni contrastanti che mi accompagnano sempre prima dell'inizio di ogni sessione! 

E' che ogni volta mi propongo sempre obiettivi troppo ambiziosi e per star dietro a tutto mi riduco anche a studiare di notte. Perchè? Perchè rispecchia perfettamente la mia filosofia di fondo: superare i propri limiti, superare sè stessi, migliorarsi, raggiungere traguardi insperati. Tutto questo penso dovrebbe essere alla base dei propositi che ognuno di noi si pone ogni mattina quando si alza dal letto. Io ci sto provando... E voi?

Days in which I turn turn and turn around not knowing what thing doing before. 

 Frenzy about the thesis and the summer examinations.  

From a side I want to do immediately all the exams. I have desire to immediately begin this summer session.  From the other side I desire that the dates of the appeals still move magically a couple of months afterwords.  Contradictory? Perhaps, but these are the conflicting emotions that always accompany me before the beginning of every session! And every time I always too much ambitious objectives and for doing everything I also reduce me to study during the night. Why? Because it perfectly mirrors my philosophy leading: to overcome our own limits, to overcome ourselves, to improve our to reach unexpected finishing lines. 

I think this should be at the base of the intentions that each of us sets every morning when get up from the bed. I am trying there... And you?
